ACHIEVEMENT RECOGNIZED

During the monthly City Council Meeting, 

The City of La Habra Heights Mayor Kyle Miller presented Vicki Cooke a Certificate of Recognition. The certificate commemorated Vicki's volunteer work for the City's Veteran's Day Recognition event. Vicki's volunteer service has allowed the event to become a success and now an annual event.

During the monthly City Council Meeting, La Habra Heights Councilmembers presents a certificate of recognition to the veterans of the City commending their military service.

Mayor Kyle Miller presents a certificate of recognition to the La Habra Meals on Wheels Board commending their volunteer efforts in the Community.

ACHIEVEMENT RECOGNIZED

During the monthly City Council Meeting, 

Doug Ewing of Ewing Architects Inc. presented to the City of La Habra Heights the American Institute of Architects award for architectural design.  The award recognized the City's design excellence for its City Hall renovation project from September 2014. 

August 11, 2016: 

ACHIEVEMENT RECOGNIZED 

During the monthly City Council Meeting, 

La Habra Heights Mayor Kyle Miller presented an award from the California Joint Powers Insurance Authority to Fire Chief Doug Graft.  The award recognized La Habra Heights for having the best workers compensation record of any of the Authority’s 37 member cities with public safety employees.  It was the second straight year La Habra Heights received the award.

VOLUNTEER RECOGNIZED 

On that same night, La Habra Heights Mayor Kyle Miller presented a certificate of recognition to George Levario. The certificate recognized Mr. Levario for his 14 years of service as a volunteer firefighter.
