Mayor Dennis Laherty was elected to the City Council at the November 5, 2019 General Municipal Election. At the December 9, 2019 Regular City Council meeting, he was also appointed to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore. At the December 14, 2020 City Council meeting, he was appointed to serve as Mayor.
Prior to being elected to the City Council, Council Member Laherty served as Chair of the Roads Advisory Committee for over three years.
