Planning

Planning is responsible for enhancing the quality of community life through current and long-range planning that adheres to today's standards and meets tomorrow's needs by guiding the physical development of projects. Planning ensures the City's viability through the enforcement of the goals and policies established within the City's General Plan. This is accomplished through the application of the design, land use and development standards established within the City's Zoning Ordinance. Planning is also responsible for project compliance with established environmental regulations.

Building & Safety

The Building Division reviews private development and subdivision maps, enforces the City's Building and Safety Codes, reviews plans and issues permits.
