Emergency Notifications

The City has partnered with Nixle to provide an Emergency Notification System to alert residents in real-time about critical emergency information and community advisories in La Habra Heights.

Notifications may be sent for wildfires, gas leaks, air quality issues, crime alerts, power outages, road closures, and weather related issues, etc. Subscribers have the ability to select how they would like to receive notifications. This could be to a home, cell or business phone, email, text message or hearing impaired receiving devices at no cost. Messages are initiated by City staff as one of several methods of relaying vital information to citizens. As a resident, there are several simple ways to register:​​  ​

​- To sign up for La Habra Heights specific alerts, simply text AlertLHH to 888777. 
​​- To receive alerts from Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department about the 90631 zip code, text 90631 to 888777.​​
